Prophecies and Truths

After a strange darkness befell their homeland, two brothers have travelled over sea and far away. Following hope found in a scrap of ancient prophecy, they are determined to seek out answers, even if this prophecy may not come to fruition for a century or more. Yet one has to wonder, how much can mere words predict? And just how badly can such words be misinterpreted?

  • 1. A Bit of “Culture”
    Oladrilon glanced down into the tankard, regarding the foamy surface for a moment. “Well, we knew things would be different across the sea….” “Yes, but I didn’t realize that they would be absolute heathens when it came to drinking.”
  • 2. New Friends and New Songs
    “To new friends,” Douglas offered, raising his own cup to start a toast. “To meeting new friends and singing new songs,” Erredel added, lifting his own glass. The words were echoed back in low murmurs as the chime of glass and crockery rang among the general sounds of the tavern.
